We have been thinking long and hard about our maintenance packages. Almost all of our websites are now built using WordPress and we supply and host websites built on Premium WordPress templates as well as run regular WordPress training days and seminars.
One of the most daunting things for people running their own websites with WordPress is the updates. There is a risk that pressing that update button will result in the infamous white screen of death and hours of time to recover. WordPress define a method for updating your site that includes switching all the plugins off, taking a backup, upgrading and then reinstating plugins and there are of course plugins to help you do all that. We use security and performance enhancing plugins on our main sites, but then again, we know what we are doing. We must have put together over 100 WordPress sites by now!
To take advantage of our experience and expertise, we have put together some WordPress maintenance packages starting with a simple backup and upgrade package and working their way up to packages including lush stuff like Cloudflare and W3 Total Cache. What we think makes our packages different and better is that we are even throwing in some page and post edits as well as online video tutorials to help you work things out for yourselves.
